To prevent or reduce processing problem due to static build-up, it is of utmost importance to incorporate additives which act as antistatic agents. Anti-Static agents are chemical additives used for treatment of yarn or their surfaces in order to reduce or eliminate build up of static electricity. Its role is to make the surface or the material itself slightly conductive, either by being conductive itself, or by absorbing moisture from the air. |

Dye levellers are used to provide uniform & level dyeing to yarn & fabrics. Oligomers are short chain length of polyester (dimers or trimers) produced during manufacture of polyester. These oligomers in the form of a fine powder migrate to the surface during high temperature polyester dyeing. Oligomer deposits lead to unlevel dyeing, duller shades, dusting during coning and choking of spindles. Dye leveller cum oligomer burster have been developed by Himchem to eliminate oligomers from the fibre surface and prevent their deposition on the machines, thus aid in uniform dyeing. |
